Popped into the second hand book store in Petone today as I saw a Scrooge McDuck comic in a tray near the front.<\/p>\n
They had 17 Walt Disney (Donald Duck\/Scrooge McDuck\/Mickey Mouse\/Beagle Boys etc) comics that had been sold to them a few days ago. “Had” being the operative work, they don’t have them now :-). <\/p>\n
They were a bit worn so not really collectable condition and I already had some of them, but I wasn’t going to go home and check my collection first, they may not have been there tomorrow. They were way under-priced at $3 each, I felt a bit guilty as you would be unable to get them even in tattered condition for under $10 each in any other second hand shop.<\/p>\n
So I’ll read them in the weekend and then try and figure out how to fit them into the already overstuffed bookcase with the few hundred I already have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
