Welcome to My Website

This is a personal website. Any comments or opinions expressed here are my own and subject to change.

The entire website is developed and maintained using the indespensible vi editor, so expect a few spelling mistakes (although lets call them freedom of expression for now).

As it is a personal website don't expect it to be too responsive :-). Don't expect fast page retrieval speeds, it's hosted at home and the ISP connection is optimised for me to recieve data, not you (yes its throttled on direction).
I also have two seperate backup servers that run schedules against the interface this VM is hosted on multiple times a day which will cause a bit of network congestion.

If you do not wish to accept cookies simply do not use this site.

To avoid confusion with the multi-clored links on this site, 'green' links are links to pages on this site itself, 'blue' links are https links to external sites, and 'red' links are links to http (non encrypted) sites which you follow at your own risk; although I admit that is all an exercise in playing wth colors as to the best of my knowledge I don't link to any sites that a hacker would try to intercept traffic for. However I was curious about CSS styling on links so you have different colours depending on link destination :-).

Things that may prevent you accessing this site

Note that many mobile phones will have trouble accessing the site as many older phones issue the supposedly obsolete HNAP or HNAP1 queries when connecting (which is a device discovery request, and I see no reason why any mobile phone needs to know what devices are attached to my network) which this site considers a hacking attempt and will automatically blacklist your ip-address from further acessing this site.

Also any old browser still using the old HTTP/1.0 protocol will get your ip-address automatically blacklisted. The only web clients still using that protocol can be considered hacker toolkits.
