Bother, no 5.25 inch floppy drive

A slight miscalculation. The old PC I had lying around was a really old one. I was correct about it only having 128Mb of memory and running FC3 becuse I couldn’t upgrade beyong that (and still dual boots Win95, wow).
However it does not have a 5.25inch floppy drive, bother I must have trashed the one with the 5.25inch drive at last years annual PC recycling collection day thinking I still had one left with an old drive.

Oh well, lets see what I can find on Trademe, maybe something in the antique section.
Although it does look like I copied off M1 [M1 not M4] from another backup set (although I’ve never checked it will run); the ones I’ve found I need to retrieve after closer investigation (reading the labels I stuck on the floppy) are M2, Cobol, ADA Prolog, Modula 2, a really old DOS version of Pascal, and the Ancient art of War (doub’t they will even run under XP but without trying who knows).

And yes I have other working prolog and cobol compilers, but I bet some of my old prolog source files are on that prolog floppy; thats what I really want off.

Oh well, where to find a 5.25 inch floppy drive, time to check the amtiques section of trademe. Although maybe someones trying to dump off an old PC for cheap, one old enough to have the drive I want is probably going for under $10.
